Designer Chandni Shah adds, “Velvet is a big trend trend this winter. Think long jackets/capes, hints of velvet in kurtas and pants, etc. I’ve combines the latest fad of culottes with velvet to create amazing pieces. You can avoid head to toe velvet by pairing it up with different fabrics. Or if you want to avoid the Bombay heat yet be trendy, velvet can be a small part of you look, like the velvet appliqué on a bustier and sleeves.”
Winter weddings done right with designer Natasha J- Dress your best for the winter weddings with lace printed kalidars and reversible lehengas from designer Natasha J. The designer says that this winter layers is what will dominate the fashion scene.
According to designer Anoli Shah, one should take their summer outfits to winter this season. She says, “Doing the rounds this season are capes in all colours and prints. Transform any outfit by just throwing on a cape. Take cues from the prints and delicate fabrics used in the Draupadi collection.”
